On the evening of the 15th, Lawrence Wong was sworn in as the fourth Prime Minister of Singapore at the Presidential Palace of Singapore.
Singapore's Deputy Prime Ministers Gan Kim Yong and Heng Swee Keat were sworn in, as well as Singapore's Senior Ministers Lee Hsien Loong and Teo Chee Hean. Gan Kim Yong and Teo Chee Hean will also serve as Singapore's Minister for Trade and Industry and Singapore's Coordinating Minister for National Security respectively.
With Lawrence Wong taking over, Lee Hsien Loong's nearly 20-year rule has officially come to an end. Lee Hsien Loong has previously called on the public to fully support the new team and build a better future for Singapore.
