The old proverb "Once you are bitten by a snake, you will be afraid of the rope of the well for life", this old proverb aptly describes the relationship between Saudi billionaire Prince Fahd Al Altaïr and his $100 million luxury yacht "Elements". The 80-meter-long yacht is reportedly cruising leisurely on the Red Sea, while the strange message conveyed by its AIS system has attracted a lot of attention.

When the yacht passed through the Suez Canal and crossed the Red Sea, the AIS system of sea traffic was updated with the information that "there is no connection with Israel". This is not unfounded, as the Red Sea has long been in turmoil, not least because of the frequent Houthi rebel attacks on Israeli ships passing through it. These vessels, whether owned, flagged or operated for Israel, are impeded by Israel.

This AIS message seems to reflect the shipowner's firm belief in "prevention before it happens". In particular, in May 2023, when the "Elements" docked at the port of Nice, it was in turmoil in France and became the target of protesters throwing garbage, paint, fruits and vegetables. In that moment, the priceless yacht seemed to become a symbol, a target used by protesters to express their dissatisfaction and anger.
