"Now, I announce the official start of the 2024 spring fire safety education and emergency drill of Huaqiao Township Central Primary School in Pujiang County!" As the rapid alarm sounded, the emergency evacuation drill kicked off on the campus. The class teachers quickly organized and led the students to trot out of the classroom and evacuate to the playground in an orderly manner. The whole exercise process was orderly, teachers and students did not panic, listened to the command, did not push, did not collide, and arrived at the designated concentration place safely.
At the drill site, Chen Biao, a popular science lecturer of the Fire and Rescue Brigade, lit a pot of fire, and actually operated the dry powder fire extinguisher on the spot, so that the students could observe the role of the fire extinguisher at close range, be familiar with the fire treatment process, and also teach everyone to understand and master the correct use of the fire extinguisher. Later, more than a dozen students enthusiastically stepped forward and learned how to use fire extinguishers with the firefighters on the spot, winning the applause of the on-site observers. "I learned to use a fire extinguisher with my fire uncle today, and I won't panic when I encounter a fire in the future!" The children were very rewarded.
After the drill, Chen Biao explained to the students how to prevent fires, how to escape quickly, safely and effectively, and other related safety knowledge; Explain the causes of fires encountered in life and the key points of fire extinguishing, such as oil pans and household appliances should not be splashed with water. Through vivid and vivid explanations, it helps students enhance their common sense of life, deepen their awareness of fire prevention, and enhance their safety consensus.
This drill improved the fire safety awareness and self-rescue and mutual rescue ability of teachers and students.
