On April 18, the 2024 China Feed Industry Exhibition, hosted by the China Feed Industry Association, was held in Xiamen. At the exhibition, Shanghai Laishen Biotechnology Co., Ltd., a Songjiang enterprise, presented the latest application results of the flagship products of the Yellow Croaker, Sea Bass White Spot Disease and Shrimp Hepatic Enteroplasmosis, the nemesis of Yellow Croaker, Sea Bass and Shrimp Hepatoenterocystis in fish and shrimp farming.
According to reports, shrimp enterenterophilia hepaticosis (EHP) can infect the hepatopancreas of shrimp, making shrimp grow slowly, emaciation, stagnation and even death, resulting in low success rate of aquaculture, declining production, huge economic losses, and is one of the more serious diseases that limit the production of shrimp aquaculture in the world. The experiment carried out by Laishen Biotech and the Pearl River Fisheries Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences showed that feeding 400mg/kg (E400) of Datu can effectively inhibit the EHP content in the hepatopancreas of shrimp, solve the problem of shrimp enteroenterobacter infection in shrimp culture, and increase the weight of shrimp by 92.26%, which is of great significance for improving the success rate of shrimp farming and increasing the economic benefits of aquaculture.
