This is the first picture book library in Songshan Lake, located in the Sunshine and Rain Party and Mass Service Center of Happy Garden in the Central Area of Songshan Lake, which is jointly built by the Party Committee of the Central Area of Songshan Lake and the Songshan Lake Branch of Dongguan Library, marking a new level of children's enlightenment education in Songshan Lake. Covering an area of 102 square meters, the Sunshine and Rain Picture Book Museum of Happiness Garden has a collection of 2,000 picture books with rich content, providing a high-quality reading environment for children in the area.

The relevant person in charge of the Party Committee of the Central Area of Songshan Lake said that since the inauguration of the area in 2022, the Party Committee of the Central Area has made full use of the position of the Sunshine and Rain Party and Mass Service Center to carry out more than 160 activities in the field of children, serving more than 5,000 children and teenagers.
At the same time, it innovatively created the Songshan Lake "Saturday Science Popularization Show" popular science brand, covering four types of popular science activities such as parent-child and large scientific devices, and held a total of 58 popular science activities as of March this year, serving about 54,000 families and 97,000 people. After the unveiling ceremony, the delegates visited the Sunshine and Rain Picture Book Museum of Happy Garden, where a series of parent-child reading activities were being carried out. On the day of "In the light of the moon, a little egg lay on the leaf...... the English picture book teaching activity, the lecturer showed the children the content of the English picture book "The Hungry Caterpillar" to the children, and explained the story of the picture to the children in English.
