In order to further strengthen the mental health education of students, cultivate students' positive and optimistic psychological state, and shape students' self-confidence and self-improvement character, on April 17, Qingshen County Experimental Primary School specially invited Liu Zikang, a family education lecturer, to the school to give a lecture on mental health.
With the theme of "Breaking Out of the Cocoon from the Heart: Inspiring Dreams and Moving Towards Self-Confidence", Mr. Liu Zikang opened a passionate lecture for the parents, teachers and students present. Teacher Liu used himself as a mirror and told the students about his own growth process. From rebellion and dislike of school in junior high school, to awakening, forging ahead, and counterattacking in high school, he was finally admitted to Hong Kong Baptist University with excellent results. Teacher Liu used questions and interactions to sow the seeds of self-confidence in the hearts of the students. The students listened carefully and actively interacted with each other, which was deeply touched.
Only with a healthy mind can we have a healthy life. In order to further improve the psychological quality of students, guide students to pay attention to their own mental health, enhance their self-mentality management ability, and learn to correctly express and adjust their mentality, the school will continue to carry out mental health education activities to escort the mental health growth of students.
The event also held the opening ceremony of the "Mei Good Dad, Happy Reading Mother" parent-child companion camp. This activity is a special activity in Qingshen County's "Meihao Happy Home, Scholarly Heart" project, which aims to take reading as the starting point, improve the reading guidance ability of parents and families, increase the opportunities for parents to participate in parent-child activities, and cultivate public welfare reading promoters.
