On April 12, the Provincial Department of Transportation organized the veteran comrades of the department to carry out the visit activity of "Promoting Excellent Traditional Culture and Increasing Positive Energy of Transportation", and more than 50 veteran comrades participated. Entrusted by Chen Yuefeng, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Department, Huang Nan, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the Department, visited the old comrades and expressed the concern and care of the Party Group of the Department for the old comrades.
At the Fuzhou Rail Transit Command Center, the veteran comrades visited the operation control center to learn more about the Fuzhou Metro line planning, station setting, operation organization, and safety management. Everyone sincerely sighed that the construction of Fuzhou rail transit not only provides convenience for citizens to travel, but also adds impetus to the city's economic and social development. Everyone is proud of the achievements made in the transportation industry of our province.
Subsequently, the veteran comrades went to Yangqi Village, a famous historical and cultural village in the province, to explore the footprints of Yan Fu, the "first person in Western studies in China". In the characteristic village of "Sanshui, Nine Mountains and Five Villages", the old comrades walked into Yan Fu's former residence, Yan Fu Memorial Hall, and Yuping Villa, walked through the thousand-year-old bridges, streets and alleys, and post roads to learn about Yan Fu's life deeds and main achievements, and feel the thick history and culture.
The veteran comrades said that this visit not only had a close understanding of the new changes, new developments and new achievements of the transportation industry in our province, but also enhanced cultural self-confidence while receiving patriotic education, so as to further play the role of silver, spread the good voice of transportation, and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
