In order to further deepen the connotation of nursing quality control, standardize nursing service behaviors, ensure the safety of clinical nursing, and improve the nursing management and specialty nursing level of the hospital, on April 12, 2024, the Nursing Department of Shanyang County People's Hospital organized the first quarter nursing quality and safety management analysis meeting and professional group work report meeting. The meeting was presided over by Tang Jing, deputy director of the Nursing Department, and attended by Tian Xueping, vice president, and head nurses of each nursing unit.
Tang Jing, deputy director of the nursing department, reported on the quality of nursing in the first quarter, and conducted a detailed analysis of the compliance of structural indicators, process indicators and outcome indicators, so as to find the correct positioning and clear direction for the next step of nursing work.
The five quality control teams of the head nurse management group, the nursing document writing group, the high-quality nursing group, the safe medication group, and the special nursing unit group respectively reported the problems existing in the first quarter, analyzed the reasons, and put forward effective rectification measures. The leaders of 7 professional groups, including the pressure injury nursing team, the static therapy team, the catheter nursing team, the VTE prevention team, the critical care team, the perioperative nursing team, and the diabetes nursing team, reported on the work of each professional group in the first quarter.
Tian Xueping, vice president, affirmed the achievements of the nursing work in the first quarter, pointed out the problems and deficiencies in the recent nursing work, and asked all departments to attach great importance to the feedback problems, take them seriously, strengthen communication, and rectify them in a timely manner.
The Nursing Department of the hospital holds a nursing quality and safety management meeting every quarter, which further improves the management level of the nursing team and promotes the continuous improvement of nursing quality and safety and the in-depth development of the whole process of high-quality nursing services. The nursing team of the hospital will continue to strengthen the construction of nursing connotation, use scientific management mode, deepen patient-oriented high-quality nursing services, build a brand of specialized nursing services, and continue to promote the scientific and refined development of nursing quality management, so that nursing quality and service can reach a new level.
