On February 19, 1979, a group of hurried figures walked through the dense forests of Vietnam.

The 128th Division's Direct Reconnaissance Company was a famous heroic company in the Vietnam War.
The "squad and post heart-to-heart battle" in which they participated is still a classic in the textbooks of military academies.
And Wang Zhiyong, the leader of class 8, is a legend.
He broke through the enemy's blockade many times, went deep behind enemy lines to conduct reconnaissance, and was rated as a first-class meritorious hero after the Vietnam War.
And recalling the bloody war, the most unforgettable thing for him is not the moment of life and death, but a very special experience.
On February 19, the PLA had broken down enemy lines on the border, and the next step was to fight deep into Vietnam.
But here's the problem, we don't have a map of Vietnam in hand, and it is easy to fall into an ambush if we enter rashly.
The war was urgent, and the heavy task of obtaining battlefield intelligence was handed over to the reconnaissance company directly under the 128th Division.
Among them, the 8th squad of soldiers led by Wang Zhiyong was not only responsible for surveying the situation, but also responsible for finding a secret passage to attack the enemy's back.
In this way, everyone explored back and forth in the mountains and forests for a day and a night, and had made initial gains.

So, the soldiers followed Wang Zhiyong's orders and searched everywhere.
At this moment, three figures appeared not far away.
They looked dressed up like the dead, and it really took no effort to get them, and the enemy himself sent them to the door.
Fighters kill female agents
They should have heard the gunshots and rushed to check the situation, not admitting that they would meet our army on a narrow road head-on.
After a moment of surprise, the guns rang out, and the curtain of the battle opened.
Our army had a clear numerical advantage, so there was no suspense in the battle, and it ended quickly.
A female agent was shot and killed, and the other two companions flew into the air, threw several grenades, and fled.

Immediately afterwards, Zhang Chao, the deputy squad leader, chased out with several soldiers like arrows.
The Vietnamese army agents originally wanted to take advantage of the rugged terrain to get rid of the pursuers, but our army was not a newcomer, and they had already been groping for a day and a night, and they could not easily get rid of it.

One of the male agents somehow tripped over the vine.
Seeing that Zhang Chao was approaching, he understood that it was useless to escape, so he chose to take out his gun and shoot.
At the last moment, Zhang Chao could only shoot to deal with it.
After a few gunshots, the male agent was killed by two bullets, and Zhang Chao immediately went to chase the last live mouth.
This is a female agent, her physical strength is not enough for Zhang Chao, and she fell to the ground not long after.
Zhang Chao originally wanted to persuade her to surrender.

Zhang Chao was very annoyed that he didn't leave a single living mouth.

Later, with the support of the Soviet Union, they launched a counterattack, allowing the war to continue on the Sino-Vietnamese border for ten years.
Vietnam is mired in war, missed the opportunity to develop its economy, and drifts away from the dream of hegemony, and finally has to bow to China and reconcile.
