In order to promote the development of the tourism industry, standardize the order of the tourism market, advocate win-win cooperation and healthy competition, improve the quality of tourism services, and promote the healthy and sustainable development of tourism in the county, on April 15, the inaugural meeting of the Yuexi County Tourism Association and the commendation meeting of the tourist homestay were held in the Wangshui Hotel.
It is reported that this event is the first cultural tourism industry social group in Yuexi County, which will promote the leapfrog and high-quality development of Yuexi County's cultural and tourism industry.
The meeting first reported the preparatory situation by the representative of the preparatory group of the association, and the participants deliberated and approved the "Yuexi County Tourism Association Charter (Draft)" and the "Yuexi County Tourism Association First General Assembly Election Method (Draft)", and read out the "Industry Self-Discipline Proposal"; the conference elected and announced the list of members of the first session of the association, and Daniel Zhang was elected as the first president of the association and made a speech.
"The establishment of the Yuexi County Tourism Association is urgently needed and necessary for Yuexi. The establishment of the association marks a key step in the reform of the tourism industry in our county, and will give full play to the important role of industry organizations as a bridge and link to enhance the cohesion and influence of the industry. President Daniel Zhang said. The establishment of the Vietnam Tourism Industry Association will standardize and integrate cultural and tourism-related industries, strengthen cooperation and exchanges between industries, serve as a bridge to coordinate the tripartite relationship between the government, enterprises and the market, provide more powerful organizational guarantee and service support for the tourism industry, and achieve all-round and sustainable development.
At present, the first batch of members of Yuexi County Tourism Association has 40 member units, covering tourism transportation, catering, rural tourism, hotels and homestays, agricultural and cultural tourism products, cultural tourism stores and other business entities.
After the establishment of the association, it will be committed to promoting the development of tourism in western Vietnam, focusing on the "difficulties" and "pain points" of the tourism market in western Vietnam, promoting the vigorous reform and innovation of the tourism industry, adhering to people-centered, insisting on supply to create demand, integrating the advantages of innovative resources, group development, innovation-driven, and reshaping thinking, so as to develop "new quality productivity of cultural tourism", cultivate more new scenarios and new formats, and empower the cultural tourism industry in western Vietnam to move towards a new journey of high-quality development.
At the same time, the association will also combine the actual tourism situation in western Vietnam, accurately grasp the new development trend, establish new development goals, and gradually resolve and break the bottleneck constraints of tourism in the face of different characteristics and different consumer groups according to the natural resources of "local culture", so as to achieve harmony and unity of corporate interests, industry interests and social interests, further strengthen the leading role, and do a good job as the "leader" and "vanguard" of the cultural tourism industry in western Vietnam, so as to jointly enhance the popularity and reputation of tourism in western Vietnam.
The conference also commended Yuexi County for the 2023 list of tourist homestay awards and subsidies and loan interest discounts and awarded a plaque, and the homestay representative made an exchange speech.
