In order to strengthen the judicial protection of the rights and interests of women and children, and promote the management of the source of marriage and family litigation, on the afternoon of April 16, the Salt Lake Court invited deputies to the National People's Congress, members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and leading cadres of the Women's Federation to enter the court to carry out the "Special Open Day for the Protection of the Rights and Interests of Women and Children", to "immerse" the work of the court, and fully listen to the opinions and suggestions of all parties, and explore ways to solve the problem.
During the event, we visited the Salt Lake Court's judicial culture theme corridor, litigation service center, family mediation room and other places to learn more about the case filing and litigation process, window services, pre-litigation mediation, family case handling and other work.
At the subsequent forum, the person in charge of the relevant business chamber introduced the work done by the Salt Lake Court in recent years in protecting the legitimate rights and interests of women and children and maintaining the harmony and stability of marriage and family. The participants actively exchanged views on strengthening communication and cooperation between the court and the women's federation, exploring multiple ways to resolve disputes in the field of marriage and family, especially family education, upbringing, visitation and other issues in marriage and family disputes, and the atmosphere was lively.
Protecting the lawful rights and interests of women and children in accordance with law is an important duty shouldered by the people's courts. In the future, the Salt Lake Court will continue to play a role in adjudication, deepen the linkage with the Women's Federation and other departments, and strengthen communication and liaison with the deputies to the National People's Congress and members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, continue to extend the scope of work, innovate ways to resolve disputes, take multiple measures to protect the legitimate rights and interests of women and children, and effectively build a solid judicial protection barrier for women and children's rights protection!
