In order to further strengthen campus safety education, improve students' awareness of campus bullying, enhance their awareness of self-protection, and jointly create a harmonious and safe campus environment, on April 16, the psychological counseling and teaching team of Huaining County Youth Extracurricular Activity Center came to Qinghe Central School in Huaining County to send a mental health group activity with the theme of "Preventing Campus Bullying and Escorting Safe Growth" to the sixth grade students.
The event aims to raise awareness and awareness of bullying in schools, while also providing effective education and guidance for parents and educators.
At the beginning of the activity, Zhao Manqing, a psychological counselor at the school, explained the definition, harm and coping methods of school bullying to the students and parents present. Through real case analysis and interactive Q&A, students deeply realized the seriousness of school bullying, and expressed that they would refuse to become bullies and bravely stand up to protect their bullied classmates.
Afterwards, the counselor also guided the students to role-play and simulation scenarios, so that they could experience first-hand how to properly handle school bullying incidents. The students were actively engaged and enthusiastic, learning not only how to refuse and resist bullying, but also how to protect themselves in the face of bullying.
In addition, some parent representatives were invited to participate in the discussion. Parents said that through this activity, they have a better understanding of the dilemmas and challenges their children may face in school, and also learned how to communicate with their children and guide them to deal with bullying correctly.
The success of this mental health group support activity has been widely praised by schools, parents and all walks of life. It not only raises students' awareness of bullying in schools, but also provides valuable educational resources and methods for parents and educators.
