During the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, Kia officially announced that its small SUV Kia Sonai was launched, and the new car offers two configurations to choose from, with the official guide price of 91,900 yuan and 100,900 yuan respectively.
The new car adopts a family design style in terms of appearance, with a black honeycomb structure decorated inside the polygonal grille, which has a strong sense of recognition, and the headlight cluster is blackened and connected to the grille, with a strong sense of visual integration.
The lower bumper features a three-section design with vertically arranged air deflectors on both sides of the fenders to improve aerodynamics, and a large rectangular air intake at the bottom, which is decorated with a grid-like structure and a chunky silver-grey trim around it to create a strong sense of power.
In terms of side styling, the roof is slightly curved, equipped with shark fins and luggage racks for a certain sense of power, the waistline adopts a through-line design to embellish the layering of the side of the body, and the wheel arches and side skirts are designed with raised black trim plates, giving the body a bit of a burly look.
In terms of rear styling, the roof is equipped with a relatively large spoiler and high-mounted brake lights, the blackened tail light cluster adopts a through-type design, which effectively stretches the horizontal visual width of the rear end, the lower surround is equipped with a concave license plate frame to embellish the three-dimensional effect of the rear, and the bottom is equipped with a thick gray scuff plate to further enhance the sense of power.
In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of the new car are 4110/1790/1625mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2500mm, positioning it as a small SUV.
In terms of interior, the overall layout can also see the shadow of the family, providing an LCD instrument panel, a floating central control screen, a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel and a mechanical gear knob, and the overall line belongs to a relatively tough type.
In terms of equipment, the new car comes standard with front and rear parking radar, reversing camera, hill start assist, cruise control, keyless entry, one-button start, automatic LED headlights, electric sunroof, rear seat proportional reclining and automatic air conditioning.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 1.5L self-aspirated engine with a maximum power of 115 horsepower and a peak torque of 144 Nm, matched with a CVT gearbox, and a combined fuel consumption of 6.29L/100km in WLTC mode.
