I believe that as a veteran player, after watching the eighth episode, no one will not give a full score of praise.
While the show does make the plot of New Vegas (NV) difficult to justify, especially the nuclear bombing of NCR's capital city of Greenshade, it will undoubtedly anger some loyal fans.
But in my memory, NCR has a corrupt aura of corruption from any point of view, in addition to its formidable Ranger armor and sheer numbers, which is why I never chose to support NCR in NV.
For those who criticize the plot setting for not matching the original, it seems to be overlooking the fact that each of the Fallout games is designed with multiple endings.
So why can't there be an ending where the NCR is nukeed, the Mojave wasteland is never touched by the NCR, and only Caesar's Legion and Mr. House are pitted against each other?
And what surprised me the most about this show was that it really revealed the true behavior of Vault Tech.
I don't think there's a single Fallout game that really tells the story of the pre-war technological achievements of big corporations like Rocco and Vault Tec and their hidden intentions.
These sci-fi settings are the core elements that attracted me to the game, not just the endless battles between several factions.
In terms of plot construction, the screenwriter obviously put a lot of effort into it, using a multi-line narrative technique, but it is not chaotic at all.
The story unfolds smoothly and climactically to a climax, connecting the conflict between the Brotherhood of Steel, the Enclave, the NCR, and Vault-Tech through a cold fusion technology, revealing a larger conspiracy in the final reversal.
Whether you've ever played the Fallout franchise or not, the show's great story will undoubtedly captivate you.
For veteran players, this plot is undoubtedly a Fallout-themed feast.
One of the "surprising" episodes in the show is the revelation that the nuclear bomb was actually dropped by the United States itself, and although this setting does not match the original setting of Obsidian Studios, it seems reasonable in the play and fits the overall atmosphere of the series, adding tension to the plot, which also brings great satisfaction to the audience.
In terms of games, I prefer to explore every corner of the wasteland, collect all kinds of materials, and experience the customs of the post-apocalyptic world.
As for where this land ultimately belongs, as a player, whether it's Qiu Shengwang, the old popsicle, the postman, or the demon of Vault 76, I don't particularly care.
The series did an excellent job of presenting the wasteland world, and I was very satisfied.
Regarding the casting of the heroine, although there is controversy, she may not be a beauty in the traditional sense, but she is by no means ugly.
The two characters of the ghoul and the black brother in the show are particularly eye-catching, especially the ghoul, who exudes charm from beginning to end, and the gun in his hand seems to have a burst effect, making people wonder if it comes from the drop of some legendary enemy.
There are no single-dimensional characters portrayed in the play, each character is trying to survive, and you may be right for those who criticize based on the actions of just a few supporting characters.
I would like to say to those of you who haven't even seen the show, or who have rushed to give a one-star review without playing the game, that you are behaving like Lucy who entered Vault 4, making judgments with prejudice and arrogance without a full understanding.
But in the end, it turns out that your perception is wrong.
In addition, it is worth mentioning that the character of the super mutant is missing from the show, the claw of death only appears in the form of a skull, and the Enclave does not appear in large numbers, which is indeed a departure from the setting of the original game, which is a little disappointing.
Judging from the plot, there seems to be some kind of connection between Vault-Tech and the U.S. government.
