Han Shuxiu's life is legendary, she was known as the "Fengtian Strange Woman" during the Beiyang Warlord Period, Han Shuxiu was a native of Fengtian, she was born in a scholarly family, and his father was an open-minded doctor.

When she was a child, Han Shuxiu was smart, lively, and quite wise, so she was pinned on by her father, and Han Shuxiu did not live up to her father's high hopes and became a well-known young talent.

When she was a little older, Han Shuxiu witnessed the corruption and incompetence of Qing government officials, and she was very angry, so she set her mind to become a teacher to awaken the minds of the people and overthrow the corrupt and incompetent late Qing government.

In 1907, 16-year-old Han Shuxiu was admitted to the Fengtian (Shenyang) Women's Normal School with excellent results, and during her time here, she often advocated to her classmates that women care about national affairs, advocated the overthrow of the Qing Dynasty's imperial system, and then participated in the League and embarked on the road of revolution.

In 1912, Guo Songling, a 29-year-old member of the League, traveled north from Sichuan to Mukden, where he planned to carry out revolutionary activities and contribute to the Wuchang Uprising.

But what Guo Songling did not expect was that just as he was in full swing to carry out revolutionary activities, soldiers under Zhao Erxun, the governor of the three eastern provinces, surrounded Guo Songling's residence, arrested Guo Songling, and put him in prison.

On January 23, 1912, after Zhao Erxun, the governor of the three eastern provinces, recognized Guo Songling as a member of the revolutionary party, he was taken to the execution ground and personally beheaded.

And just when he was about to be executed, Han Shuxiu, who was also a member of the revolutionary party with Guo Songling, broke into the execution ground at the risk of death, claiming that he was Guo Songling's fiancée, and that he had come to Fengtiancheng to marry him, and that he was not a revolutionary, and said that Guo Songling was a subordinate of Zhu Qinglan, who had become acquainted with him.

After hearing this, Zhao Erxun, the governor of the three eastern provinces, immediately ordered the release of Guo Songling, and afterwards, Guo Songling was impressed by Han Shuxiu's courage and got involved with him.

After the two got married, they respected each other like guests and lived happily, while Han Shuxiu, as his wife, fully played the role of a virtuous helper, taking care of Guo Songling's family and sharing worries.

In 1915, Zhang Zuolin, the leader of the Feng Department, in order to expand the strength of the Feng Department, began to recruit talents everywhere for his own use, at that time, Guo Songling, who was an outstanding student of the Army University, attracted the attention of Zhang Zuolin, Zhang Zuolin was a person who loved talents, so he recruited him to serve as an instructor in the Northeast Lecture and Martial Arts Hall, and trained officers for the Feng Army.

As an instructor in the Northeast Lecture Hall, Guo Songling got acquainted with Zhang Xueliang, the eldest son of Zhang Zuolin, and became a "master-apprentice relationship" with him.

At the same time, Zhang Xuelai knew that Guo Songling was a person with real skills, so he vigorously recommended Guo Songling in front of his old father Zhang Zuolin, and Zhang Zuolin entrusted Guo Songling with an important position and let Guo Songling serve as the head of the Second Regiment of the Fengjun Army.

In 1924, in the second Zhifeng War, Guo Songling served as the deputy commander of the Third Army of the Feng Army, led the troops to defeat the main force of the Feng Army, and became the hero of the victory of the Feng Army.

Subsequently, Yang Yuting and others squeezed out Guo Songling, Guo Songling could only be disheartened and went to Japan with his wife Han Shuxiu to inspect the military, and during the military inspection in Japan, a news reached his ears, which made him extremely indignant.

It turned out that after Guo Songling came to Japan, Zhang Zuolin, the leader of the Feng family, purchased a large number of weapons and equipment from the Japanese, and prepared to use these weapons and equipment to fight the national army in the south, which made Guo Songling decide to completely break with Zhang Zuolin, and after returning to China, he got in touch with Feng Yuxiang and raised troops against Feng Feng.

In November 1925, shortly after returning to China, Guo Songling raised troops in Luanzhou to rebel against Feng, reorganized his 70,000 horses into 4 armies, and moved eastward, because the 70,000 horses under Guo Songling were the elite divisions of the Feng army, just a few weeks of hard work, they broke down the Lianshan defense line that Zhang Zuolin was proud of, and formed a threatening trend on Zhang Zuolin's base camp Fengtian City.

In the face of the strong attack of Guo Songling's department, Zhang Zuolin, the leader of the Feng department, panicked, on the one hand, he cleaned up the gold and silver in the marshal's mansion and was ready to flee at any time, and on the other hand, he asked his son Zhang Xuelai to organize men and horses to block Guo Songling's offensive in the Juliu River.

However, just when Guo Songling was leading his troops to confront the Feng army led by Zhang Xuelai, Feng Yuxiang "backstabbed" Guo Songling at this critical juncture, and chose to watch from the sidelines, and did not send troops to support Guo Songling, which made Guo Songling's troops fall into a situation of fighting alone.

At the same time, the Japanese army also made a sudden move at this time, dispatching the Kwantung Army to launch a surprise attack on Guo Songling's troops, and in the end, Guo Songling was defeated and had to flee with his wife Han Shuxiu in disguise.

At that time, after putting on makeup, the two drove a donkey cart and fled to hide in the vegetable kiln of a farmer in Xinmin County, but the pursuers of the Feng army pursued them, found the husband and wife in the vegetable kiln, and escorted the two to Laodafang Township, Liaozhong County, waiting for the order of Zhang Zuolin, the head of the department.

At that time, the news that Guo Songling and his wife were arrested reached Fengtian City, Zhang Zuolin was very happy, so he asked Guo Songling and his wife to be escorted back to Fengtian City, and he would personally interrogate them, but Yang Yuting did not agree, for fear that Zhang Xueliang would stand up and protect the two, so he persuaded Zhang Zuolin to execute Guo Songling and his wife to avoid further incidents, and Zhang Zuolin listened to Yang Yuting's suggestion, and even ordered someone to go to Laodafang Township, Liaozhong County to convey his order, and execute Guo Songling and his wife on the spot.

On December 25, 1925, Guo Songling and his wife Han Shuxiu were taken to a dense forest in Laodafang Township, Liaozhong County, and then executed. ”

Han Shuxiu's words moved the soldiers of the Fengjun firing squad, and with several gunshots, Guo Songling and his wife Han Shuxiu fell in a pool of blood one after another.

After Guo Songling and his wife Han Shuxiu were executed, Zhang Xueliang was heartbroken, and the people in Northeast China were also saddened.
