In order to fully reflect the function of the procuratorial organs in serving the people's livelihood, on April 15, the Yangpu District People's Procuratorate, together with the Yangpu Branch of the Shanghai Municipal State Security Bureau, the State Security Department of the Yangpu Branch of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau and other departments, held the "Procuratorial Open Day" activity, inviting teachers and student representatives from the First Affiliated High School of Tongji University, Shanghai Yangpu Bilingual School and Zhengli Road Primary School to talk about national security knowledge face-to-face, immerse themselves in the trial of cases, and enhance the national security awareness of the whole people with practical actions.
Face-to-face communication and talk about national security
National security is the basic prerequisite for the survival and development of the country and the fundamental guarantee for the people to live and work in peace and contentment. In the face-to-face exchange session of the procuratorial open day, police officers from the Yangpu Branch of the Shanghai Municipal State Security Bureau and the State Security Department of the Yangpu Branch of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau analyzed the current development of the international situation and the various international threats and challenges facing China. The police officers said that under the current international situation, national security issues are becoming increasingly complex and diverse, and various risks and challenges are emerging one after another, and every citizen shoulders the heavy responsibility of safeguarding national security. As an important carrier of learning knowledge, students will have a higher probability of being exposed to external risks, so it is very important to maintain their original intention and always take national security as the premise.
Xiao Liu, a student at Shanghai Yangpu Bilingual School, said that studying abroad is a step for them to step into the wider world, but they must also recognize that there are differences in different countries and cultures, not only in terms of language and customs, but also in terms of values and social concepts. As a Chinese student, you need to be more aware of your own cultural background and respect and understand the culture of other countries. At the same time, it will not participate in any activities that may harm national interests, and take the initiative to report suspicious acts that may endanger national security.
Xiao Liao, a student of the No. 1 Affiliated High School of Tongji University, told reporters that in the past, his understanding of national security was limited to books and television news, but through the on-site analysis of the cadres and police, he felt that national security was closely related to everyone, and that an inadvertent act might endanger national security.

Safeguarding national security is the mission and responsibility of the broad masses of the people, and young students are the vanguard of the country's future development. In this "Procuratorial Open Day" experience activity, the Yangpu District People's Procuratorate specially arranged a mock court trial activity, selected the typical cases of "spying for overseas and illegally providing state secrets" that have been publicly released, and the students simulated the entire trial process by playing different roles such as the presiding judge, the prosecutor, and the defender, intuitively felt the judicial authority, and immersed themselves in the national security theme education, creating a national security publicity and education rule of law practice classroom.
Xiao Lin, a student at the No. 1 Affiliated Middle School of Tongji University, told this reporter that in the course of the mock trial, the acts of spying on foreign countries and illegally providing state secrets truly reflect the various threats and challenges facing national security, and if they are not stopped in time, the consequences will be unimaginable. Therefore, in daily study and life, everyone should always pay attention to national security, be a caring person, care about national affairs, and care about national security.
