In order to further enhance the awareness and understanding of the school teachers and staff on anti-drug knowledge and promote the better development of anti-drug work, on April 13, the anti-drug brigade of the Yuli County Public Security Bureau and the county anti-drug office invited the county education and science bureau to visit and study the anti-drug education base.

During the visit, the staff of the county anti-drug office gave a detailed explanation of the types and harms of drugs, and let the teachers and students present have a more intuitive understanding of the history of drug control, the types of drugs, the harmfulness of drugs to families and society and the current form of drugs in society by visiting the anti-drug models, history and culture stored in the education base. UNODC staff particularly emphasized the harmfulness of new drugs such as etomidate and laughing gas to human beings, and guided everyone to start from themselves in rejecting drugs.

"Now there are many kinds of drugs in the society, which is difficult to prevent, I hope that from this visit we can master more drug knowledge, enhance the awareness of daily self-protection, and actively promote anti-drug knowledge to the people around us, create a good atmosphere for the whole people to participate in drug control, and contribute to maintaining social harmony and stability in the jurisdiction. Yang Jing, a staff member of the Education and Science Bureau, said.

Through this visit and study, it not only improved the ability of cadres and workers to resist drugs and their awareness of drug control, but also made everyone have a more intuitive understanding of the harm of drugs.
