On April 11, Liu Xuejun, vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and his party came to our district to conduct a special investigation on the progress of the construction of the provincial rural revitalization demonstration belt. Liu Xuejun and his entourage successively came to the site of the Xidayingzi Town Human Settlements Environment Improvement Project, the Hailong Street Characteristic Grape Industrial Park Project, the Jujube Planting Base of Daban Village, Dapingfang Town, and the Edible Fungi Industrial Park of United Town, listened to the project report, learned in detail about the construction and development of the district's rural environment improvement, facility agriculture, and characteristic forest and fruit industry, and put forward opinions and suggestions.
Liu Xuejun pointed out that the construction of the rural revitalization demonstration belt is an important exploration to comprehensively promote rural revitalization. Longcheng District should clarify its thinking, work hard, do everything possible and take multiple measures to improve infrastructure, develop characteristic economic industries according to time and local conditions, strengthen the village collective economy, and promote various tasks of rural revitalization in a steady and orderly manner.
Liu Xuejun emphasized that based on the advantages of local characteristic resources, we should continue to strengthen the characteristic industries such as Yumachi grapes, Daban Village jujube and edible fungi in United Town, integrate the development of characteristic forest and fruit industry and rural tourism, actively cultivate new quality productivity, and optimize the new model and new path of rural industry development.
