The 2024 F1 Chinese Grand Prix will be held at the Shanghai International Circuit from April 19-21. In order to ensure the safety and smooth progress of this event, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, the Jiading Branch of the Shanghai Municipal Public Security Bureau decided to implement traffic control measures on some roads in Jiading District.
Control time and road section
From 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on April 20: Yining Road (Yunping Road - East Ring Road), Anchen Road (Bao'an Road - East Ring Road outside the racetrack), Anchen Road (south side of the Anchen Road cross-line bridge - East Ring Road outside the racetrack), Anxiao Road (Bao'an Highway - Yining Road), Anxiao Road (south side of Anxiao Road cross-line bridge - Yining Road), Yuanguo East Road (Youju Road - North Outer Ring Road of the Racing Track), Baiyin Road (Linze Road - East Outer Ring Road of the Racing Track), all vehicles are prohibited.

Specific control measures
1. Motor vehicles are prohibited from passing in the direction of the circuit on the controlled road section, except for vehicles and buses with F1 parking permits;
2. Non-motorized vehicles are prohibited from passing in the direction of the controlled road section towards the racetrack;
3. The controlled road section allows pedestrians to pass along the sidewalk on the street;
4. After the end of the race on the 21st, from 16 to 19 o'clock, all vehicles (including vehicles with F1 parking permits) are prohibited from entering the direction of the circuit on the controlled road section;
5.After the end of the race on the 21st, from 16 o'clock to 19 o'clock, Yining Road (Yunping Road - East Ring Road) will be closed to buses in both directions.
Other considerations
1. During the traffic control period, motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles are prohibited from passing during the control time and in the control sections, except for vehicles holding F1 parking car parking permits, special racing vehicles and special vehicles performing emergency tasks.
2. The public security traffic management department will advance or postpone the traffic control time and expand or reduce the traffic control scope according to the situation at the competition site.

A detour route is suggested
Vehicles driving on Shenzhuan Highway and Chenhua Road can go to Sichen Highway and Wenxiang Road to bypass.
Vehicles traveling south to north on Chenta Road can detour to Dingyuan Road, Kungang Highway, Renmin North Road or Jiasong South Road (northbound vehicles can pass).
Vehicles traveling from the east to the west of Guangfulin Road can detour to Wenxiang Road (vehicles from the west to the east can pass).
Vehicles driving on Longyuan Road can detour to Jiasong South Road or Renmin North Road.
Other considerations
Motor vehicles holding a marathon track vehicle permit are allowed to enter the above traffic control roads.
Some bus routes that are the same as the marathon route will be suspended, reduced and detoured.
The public security traffic management department will advance or postpone the traffic control time according to the situation at the competition site, expand or narrow the scope of traffic control, and the general public is requested to make travel arrangements in advance and actively cooperate with the public security road traffic safety management work.
Traffic police remind
Due to the Sheshan Half Marathon, from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. on April 21, residents of Shanshuijingyuan Community should enter and exit from the east gate of the community, and residents of Hopson Guangfuhui, Sheshan Xiyue and Sheshan Longyuan Community should turn right from Guangxuan Road to Longyuan Road, enter the Hudi Garage of Guangfulin Cultural Site and exit from the underground garage of Yinze Road. The specific measures are subject to the on-site police control measures.
