On April 12, Baojun Yueye PLUS and the 2024 Yueye were officially launched, of which Yueye PLUS launched two configuration models, with a guide price of 93,800 yuan and 103,800 yuan respectively, and the 2024 Yueye launched two configuration models with a price of 80,800-90,800 yuan.
Among them, the 2024 Yue is also an annual facelift model, with only slight changes in the interior and exterior design, the size is still 3381/1685/1721mm, and the wheelbase is 2110mm.
In terms of configuration, the 2024 Yueye is equipped with LED high and low beams, LED daytime running lights, automatic headlights, roof rack, 6-way electric adjustment of the main driver's seat, automatic wipers, cruise control, keyless entry, and 4 speakers throughout the car.
In terms of power, it is equipped with a front-mounted single motor with a maximum power of 50 kW and a peak torque of 140 Nm, mated to a 28.1 kWh battery pack, and has a CLTC range of 303 km.
Of course, consumers pay more attention to the five-door version of Yueye PLUS. In terms of appearance, Yueye PLUS continues the design language of the Yueye family, with a long strip-shaped closed black grille on the front face, which conceals the fast and slow charging interface in the middle, and hides four-point headlight clusters on both sides. Underneath the grille is a hard-style, stout front bumper, with a square, straight line, which organically combines sophistication and hard-style.
The side of the body is naturally a standard square box shape, with high ground clearance, straight line outline, and expanded wheel eyebrows, always emphasizing the off-road style. The two-tone body is an important way to enhance the sense of style, and the CD pillar is also embellished with body-colored trims, floating roof, two-tone mirror covers, and chic gray wheels, adding a sense of sophistication.
Compared with the three-door version, the wheelbase of the vehicle itself is mainly improved, from 2110mm to 2560mm, and the three measurements of the vehicle have reached 3996/1760/1726mm, and the space utilization rate and practicality have been greatly improved.
At the rear of the car, Yue Ye PLUS has eliminated the backpack-style storage compartment, and instead used black decorative strips to outline a long strip to echo the front of the car. The shape of the tail light cluster is also the same as that of the three-door version, with high-mounted brake lights added to the roof, the left-hand door tailgate has been retained, and the rear bumper part is decorated in off-road style gray, which is unified with the overall style.
The interior part basically copied the design style of the three-door version of Yueya, equipped with dual 10.25-inch floating large screens, rounded rectangular air conditioning vents on both sides and in the middle of the center console, the front end of the armrest box is completely hollowed out, so as to provide an open storage compartment and suspension island, and the wireless charging panel and pocket gear shift are not absent, showing a high enough sense of grade.
In terms of power and range, the Yueye PLUS is equipped with a front-drive motor with a maximum power of 102 horsepower as standard, matched with a 37 kWh battery pack, and has a CLTC range of 401 km.
Nowadays, pure electric cars with hard-core styles are very popular, and the main consumers are young people who focus on personalization, compared with Dolphin, Nezha AYA and other models are still considered niche. The launch of the five-door version of Yueye PLUS will further enhance the practicality of the vehicle and meet the needs of different consumers, but the optional range and configuration of the car are indeed not much, and it is expected that more configuration models will be launched in the future.
