The case diameter of this watch is around 42.4 mm and it is equipped with a polished and brushed 18K Armor Gold® hard gold case. This material has significantly higher hardness and is more resistant to wear than conventional 5N red gold.

The flying minute tourbillon at 6 o'clock on the dial is made up of 56 parts with a total weight of just 0.675 grams. The watchmaker places the balance, lever and escape wheel in a small frame that rotates once a minute around its axis. The pallet fork and escape wheel of this component are made of silicon and treated with the DiamondShell® process.

This technical treatment reduces component friction and prevents energy loss, resulting in a high power reserve of 84 hours. Thanks to the tourbillon stop, the mechanism can be stopped completely to ensure that the wearer can set the time to the nearest second.

The dial corresponds to the light and dark sides of the dial, which rotates around its axis every 24 hours, creating a captivating visual effect both day and night. Inspired by the whimsy of IWC's watchmaking apprentice Loris Spitzer, the day/night display system was integrated into the newly developed IWC-manufactured 81925 calibre.

Since the movement is hand-wound and has no oscillating weight, the small rotating planet can be seen from both the front and back of the watch. The gold-plated flat section is hollowed out to allow a view of the delicate structure of the barrel and other components.

The watch is fitted with a black Santoni alligator leather curved strap with an 18K Armor Gold® buckle for added comfort. Of course, you can also choose different materials of strap according to your preferences to provide more possibilities for the combination of watches.
