Chinese enterprises in many places have been fined

Recently, the Italian police launched a large-scale inspection operation on illegal products.

2.4 million pieces of illegal goods were detained in Chinese stores

Italy's Milanotoday website reported that the Padua provincial tax police seized about 2.4 million substandard goods during inspections of local Chinese shops and a company registered in Milan. None of these products are marked with product descriptions in accordance with the requirements of the Consumer Law, which cannot assess and prevent risks during the use of the products, and pose a potential threat to consumer safety.

Among the potentially dangerous items, including display cases, clothing store mannequin prop parts, blister packaging, price machines, etc. More than 10,000 wedding dresses were also found for sale in a wholesale clothing store, but the fabric composition description on the garment label did not meet the regulatory requirements.

The police seized all the offending goods and notified the local chamber of commerce.

4 tons of "Made in China" cargo was intercepted

Italy's Genovatoday reported that Genoa customs recently seized more than 4 tons of electronic products at the local port, including devices for charging and syncing tablets.

The shipment arrived in Genoa by sea from China to be destined for an import company in Lombardy. However, none of the goods indicated the country of origin information, and the label of the goods contained only the logo and address of a Danish company.

Customs then intercepted the consignment. At the same time, the person in charge of the import company involved in the case is facing litigation on suspicion of placing industrial products with false labels on the market.

The Genoa Public Prosecutor's Office then approved the return of the goods, but only if the products were labelled "Made in China" under the supervision of customs officers. The Prato Tax Police seized about 6 million euros of textiles

Italy's Notiziediprato network reported that when the Prato tax police recently launched a surprise inspection of a Chinese company in the local industrial park, they seized about 71,000 rolls of illegal fabrics, with a total length of about 6 million meters, as well as more than 5,000 T-shirts and about 340,000 clothing accessories, with a total value of 6 million euros.
