On April 10, the main excavation of the main body of the station was completed at Qixinggang Station of the northern extension section of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 18, which is also the first underground excavation station on the whole line to complete the main excavation. After that, the Qixinggang station will be fully transferred to the main structure construction stage, laying a solid foundation for the shield air push through the station.
Qixinggang Station is constructed by Chongqing Communications Development and Investment Rail Group and constructed by China Communications Construction Group, and is located under Loquat Mountain Street, Yuzhong District, with a total length of 223 meters, a width of 26 meters, an excavation height of 22 meters, and an excavation area of 492.5 square meters.
In order to ensure the smooth realization of the main excavation construction of the station, Chongqing Rail Group jointly conducted on-site surveys with construction units, supervision, design and other units to identify and analyze construction risk points. At the same time, strengthen data analysis, invite well-known experts in the industry to discuss and formulate scientific and reasonable construction plans, establish a BIM studio, and use digital and intelligent means to complete station modeling, three-dimensional site layout and other work.
During the construction, the project management personnel also actively carried out the experiment and application of new technology of hard rock tunneling, and successfully solved many problems such as smoke, high temperature and high noise in the non-explosive construction tunnel.
It is understood that the northern extension of Line 18 is about 11 kilometers long, with 8 underground stations, of which Qixinggang Station will be transferred to Line 1 and Line 10 after completion. After the line is completed and opened to traffic, it will further encrypt the rail transit network in Yuzhong District, alleviate traffic congestion in Hualongqiao, Daping, Caiyuanba and other areas, facilitate public travel, and promote regional economic and social development.
