At the construction site, workers are carrying out overall rectification of the original building, partial status quo renovation, without changing the original appearance of the cultural relics, repairing the ancient building, better protecting and continuing the historical information and value of the ancient building.
It is reported that in the Qianxi area of Xiangxing Village, Caixi Township, a group of Yue's ancient houses composed of more than 50 ancient houses lies quietly in the mountains. Yue's ancient house group has a unique architectural style, is a civil engineering structure, with raw soil as the main building material, and the total area of the ancient house group is about 30 acres. The old site where the ancient houses of the Yue family are located was originally moved here by Yue Fei's descendants to escape the disaster, and then repaired and built by future generations. Among them, 4 of them won the title of "Xianyou County Traditional Style Building", and the oldest one was built in the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, which has a history of about 400 years.
In recent years, our county has coordinated the protection and utilization of traditional villages and rural revitalization, adapted measures to local conditions, scientifically planned, increased capital investment, strengthened protection and utilization, effectively protected and improved the style of traditional villages, cultivated new forms of rural cultural tourism, and activated new momentum for rural revitalization.
According to reports, Caixi Township will build Yue's ancient house into an international tourism distribution center in Xianbei, on the basis of retaining the original traditional style of buildings and block texture, inject new functions, and create a service street and lane that provides catering, retail, experience entertainment, and characteristic homestays for distribution tourists. Among them, the overall traditional style buildings will be transformed into courtyard-style commercial or cultural experience spaces, the periphery of the building will be built into a catering block, and the building complex at the foot of the mountain will be built into a themed boutique homestay; The ancestral house of the Qianxi Yue clan has been built into a themed commercial and cultural exhibition space. Actively revitalize idle traditional building resources, make rational use of historical and cultural resources, improve the living environment in the village, and enrich the tourism experience of traditional villages.
