Born in Guangzhou, Dang Huali studied music since childhood, and was admitted to the High School Affiliated to Xinghai Conservatory of Music at the age of 10, where she studied under Associate Professor Xu Yue and Professor Xu Guangrong. In 2011, he was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music and studied under Professor Tong Weidong, a famous violin educator, director of the orchestra department of the Central Conservatory of Music, and doctoral supervisor.
