On December 17th, the 19th International Violin Competition for the 120th Anniversary of the 120th Anniversary of Khachaturian was opened. Seventeen outstanding violinists from more than 10 countries around the world will compete for the final ranking of the global competition on the music stage in the next 10 days, showcasing the talent and passion of young violinists.
That night, after the draw ended, a concert pulled people into a relaxed, lively world of music. Under the leadership of conductor Chen Lin, the Symphony Orchestra of the Central Conservatory of Music, together with Chinese international violinist Yang Tianwa, and the judge of the 19th Khachaturian 120th Anniversary International Violin Competition, international violinist Jarosław Nadrzycki (Jarosław Nadrzycki), made a grand appearance at the Central Opera House, allowing the audience to experience the shock and charm of international high-level classical music up close.
As a blockbuster event launched by the "Art Shijingshan" brand, the event was officially launched in Shijingshan District on July 12, 2023. From October 6th to 8th, the China Qualifiers were held at the Shijingshan District Cultural Center, and 24 players from all over the country participated in the competition to compete for the promotion places. Around the holding of the event, Shijingshan District integrated resources, strengthened linkage, and carried out a series of activities such as art lectures, book sharing, and cultural tourism promotion. Organize the contestants and judges to go to Shougang Park, Modekou Historical and Cultural District, Cheng'en Temple and other cultural and tourism spots to enhance their understanding of the profound cultural heritage of Shijingshan District, experience the new scenes and new formats of cultural and tourism integration consumption, harvest artistic inspiration, and implant music into diversified cultural and tourism scenes.
Guo Qi, director of the Shijingshan District Cultural Center, introduced that in recent years, Shijingshan District has actively built the "Art Shijingshan" brand, combined high-quality social resources, and launched activities such as the China Environmental Dance Exhibition, the Campus Song Competition, the National Square Dance Competition, and the National Gold Medal Troupe Huimin Performance Season, so as to create a "national art life circle" and continuously enhance the regional cultural atmosphere.
In the next step, Shijingshan District will seize the opportunity of the 19th Khachaturian 120th Anniversary International Violin Competition, invite well-known musicians at home and abroad to perform a number of high-level concerts, carry out international cultural exchange activities such as cultural and art weeks in Europe and other countries, light up the city's cultural life with music, show off the "international style" of music of "Art Shijingshan", and further enhance the international influence and popularity of Shijingshan District.
