Shijingshan is 183.7 meters above sea level, close to Yongding River, and is known as "the first immortal mountain in Yandu". The top of Shijingshan where the Gongbei Pavilion is located, was originally built in the Tang Dynasty in the Golden Pavilion Temple Relic Pagoda Courtyard, the courtyard had built a covered bowl type pagoda, built on the base of the tower mixed with bricks and stones, and was destroyed in the war later. In 1993, Shougang Group completed the construction of the Gongbei Pavilion Pavilion on the site of the Golden Pavilion Temple in Shijingshan on the site of the Buddha Xiang Pavilion of Wanshou Mountain in the Summer Palace. In 2022, Gongbeige was officially transferred from Shougang Group to Shijingshan District Culture and Tourism Bureau.
This year, the Shijingshan Ancient Jianqun Cultural Relics Depository has renovated and renovated the main building of the Gongbei Pavilion, upgraded the fire protection system, replaced the elevator, and improved the landscape lighting and the greening effect of the hiking trail. After the repair, the Gongbei Pavilion is more beautiful and colorful, and will surely become a bright pearl on the cultural belt of Yongding River in Xishan.
According to the Shijingshan District Bureau of Culture and Tourism, in the future, Gongbei Pavilion will be built into a multi-level and all-round comprehensive cultural and tourism experience space that brings together art exhibitions, trendy cultural and creative industries, light food, leisure and entertainment and other diversified formats.
In addition, Gongbeige will also create a unique cultural and creative area in Shijingshan, dig deep into the rich history and culture of Shijingshan area, integrate these cultural elements into cultural and creative products, and make history and culture glow with new brilliance in modern times through ingenious design, becoming Shijingshan's unique cultural and creative IP.
The "Xianshan Fuli" cultural and creative brand focuses on the cultural IP of "Yandu's First Xianshan - Shijingshan", combines the traditional "Fu" culture, puts forward the concept of "Xianshan Fuli", and makes joint efforts in the form of culture + tourism commodities to create an exclusive cultural and creative IP of tourism commodities in Shijingshan area.
