The highest altitude of Dahai Township is 4017.3 meters, the lowest altitude is 952 meters, the valley slope ratio is large, and the water storage capacity of water conservancy projects is relatively weak, which restricts the development of agricultural industry. Considering the necessity of building a reservoir in the Erdaoping section of the Jianshan River in the area, the service group can gather scattered water resources and develop 56,000 acres of understory economy in Buduo, Lishu, Nideping, Xiaojiang, Auhei, Liujiacun, Xiaxin Village, Dumidu and other villages, and meet the drinking water needs of 4,100 people in Buduo, Lishu, Xiaojiang and Nideping villages. At the same time, the potential of 75,000 acres of land resources can be tapped, and bananas, oranges, lemons, loquats, mangoes, etc. can be developed on a large scale to help increase the output value of the region. After the on-site exploration and inspection of the reservoir construction conditions of the service group, a small (one) type reservoir can be built, and the preliminary planned reservoir capacity is about 6 million cubic meters.
As one of the county-level scientific and technological talent teams in Huize, the Huize County Water Conservancy Talent Service Group provides consultation and assistance around rural water conservancy project construction projects, and guides reservoir survey and design, flood and drought prevention, rural water conservancy construction, soil and water conservation, water resources planning, engineering quality inspection, water plant operation management, project management, etc.
Since October last year, the "Water Conservancy + Rural Revitalization" reservoir action of the Huize County Water Conservancy Talent Service Group has continued to make new contributions. The construction of the Hake Reservoir with a total estimated investment of 56.5669 million yuan and a storage capacity of 157,000 cubic meters and the Baimugou Reservoir with a total estimated investment of 51.0118 million yuan and a storage capacity of 223,000 cubic meters started construction. In the first quarter of this year, the Xiyangtang Reservoir with a total estimated investment of 54.1044 million yuan and a storage capacity of 151,000 cubic meters, and the Shiban Reservoir with a total estimated investment of 40.4287 million yuan and a storage capacity of 209,000 cubic meters started construction, realizing a "good start" in reservoir construction. Up to now, the construction of the new reservoir is being accelerated according to the planned time node, striving to give full play to the benefits of people's livelihood as soon as possible and help the revitalization and development of rural areas.
