The reporter learned from China Railway Wuhan Bureau Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Wuhan Railway") that April 6 was the last day of the Qingming holiday, and 128 passenger stations such as Wuhan, Hankou and Wuchang ushered in the peak of return passenger flow. Wuhan Railway is expected to send more than 950,000 passengers on the same day, setting a new high for passengers sent during the Qingming holiday, catching up with the highest number of passengers sent during the Spring Festival this year. Among them, the passenger flow of the three major stations of Wuhan, Hankou and Wuchang continued to maintain a high level of operation, and it is expected to send 146,000, 123,000 and 80,000 passengers respectively on the same day.

During this year's Qingming holiday, the gradually improved transportation network in the Wuhan Railway Tube and the "bus-oriented" bullet trains attracted passengers to choose railway travel, and each station ushered in a large passenger flow such as visiting relatives, sacrificial sweeping, outing, and tourism. According to big data analysis, the passenger, transportation, dispatching, vehicle and other departments of Wuhan Railway maximize the transportation potential, dynamically adjust the train operation according to the "one map per day", and timely supplement the capacity of popular lines such as Hanyi Railway, Han-10 High-speed Railway, Zhengyu High-speed Railway, and popular directions such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Yichang, and Shiyan. During the three-day Qingming holiday, a total of 251 passenger trains were added to each station of Wuhan Railway to improve the transport capacity, and a total of 2.49 million passengers were sent, and the total number of passengers sent hit a new high during the Qingming holiday. Among them, the three major stations of Wuhan, Hankou and Wuchang sent a total of 1.01 million passengers.

In order to serve the peak passenger flow, the "Heart-to-Heart" service desk at Hankou Station has carried out linkage services, set up 3 air-rail intermodal service points in the station, installed 2 self-service check-in machines, and set up inspection-free channels at the exit and subway entrance to provide passengers with "air-rail-ground" three-dimensional services, making it more convenient for passengers to travel by train, plane and subway. The Yichang Train Depot has strengthened the linkage with the transportation department, set up guidance signs for buses, taxis, and online car-hailing points, and done a good job in guiding people and vehicles in front of the station, so as to realize the seamless connection of the "last mile" inside and outside the station. Wuhan, Xinyang East, Xiangyang East, Shiyan East, Macheng North and other stations give full play to the role of service brands such as "Five Heart Service", "Xinhao You", "Xiangyu 1080" and "Qinglan Family", and send additional volunteers at the entrance and exit of the station and waiting hall to provide key passenger appointment services, and provide "one-to-one" continuous services for key passengers such as "the elderly, children, sick, disabled, and pregnant", so as to continuously improve the travel experience of passengers.

In order to facilitate the staggered travel of passengers, on April 7, Wuhan Railway plans to open 20 additional bullet trains running between various stations in the tube, adding 11 general-speed trains such as Wuchang to Xiangyang K8112, Wuchang to Huangshi T4229, Wuchang to Jingmen K5432, and reconnecting some EMUs between Wuhan to Yichang and Jingzhou to increase transport capacity.
