On March 26, Anju No. 4 Primary School successfully held a comprehensive fire emergency drill to improve the fire response ability and safety awareness of teachers and students.
At the beginning of the drill, the emergency evacuation alarm sounded in the campus, and the teacher calmly guided the students to cover their mouths and noses with wet towels, bend down and evacuate from the classroom to a safe area quickly and orderly according to the designated escape route. After arriving at the playground, each class quickly lined up, counted the number of people in the class, and reported the number of people in the class to the school safety education officer.
Immediately afterwards, the school safety education officer trained all teachers and students on the use of fire extinguishers. He explained in detail the correct use of the fire extinguisher, and let the students operate it themselves and experience the process of extinguishing the fire. Through practical operation, the students have a clearer understanding of the skills and precautions for using fire extinguishers.
In addition, the school also organized teachers and students to watch fire safety videos, and popularized important knowledge such as fire prevention and escape skills to everyone through vivid pictures and cases. The cases in the video made teachers and students deeply aware of the hazards of fire and the importance of fire prevention.
This fire emergency drill not only improved the emergency response ability of teachers and students, but also made them better understand fire safety knowledge, and enhanced their self-protection ability in emergency situations.
