On March 22, the second Chinese calligraphy exhibition opened at the Qujing Art Museum, with a total of more than 2,000 carefully selected works from more than 2,000 submissions and more than 200 specially invited works, which lasted until April 21.

At the opening ceremony, Yang Zhixin, Director of the Research Center of the Central Research Center of the Counsellors' Office of the State Council, delivered a speech and announced the opening of the exhibition. Miao Kaihe, member of the party group and vice chairman of the Yunnan Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and Mao Jianqiao, member of the Standing Committee of the Qujing Municipal Party Committee, Secretary-General of the Municipal Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department of the Municipal Party Committee, delivered speeches respectively. Tang Kairong, deputy secretary and deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, presided over the meeting.

Adhering to the concept of "rooted in tradition, encouraging innovation, combining art and culture, and inclusiveness", this year's exhibition mainly reflects the poems, texts and couplets of Yunnan and Qujing, with distinctive content, diverse forms and rich connotations, highlighting the outstanding talents of contemporary Chinese calligraphers and calligraphers. The works in the exhibition are close to the context of "Erjiao", absorbing the elements of "Erjiao", from actual to meaningful, from writing to creation, the style is either simple and solemn or strange and dangerous or lively, showing the latest achievements in the exploration and innovation of calligraphy and playing a great leading role in inheriting and promoting the culture of Jia.

The event was sponsored by the Research Center of the Central Research Institute of Culture and History of the Counsellors' Office of the State Council, the Institute of Calligraphy and Seal Carving of the China National Academy of Painting, the Yunnan Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Yunnan Provincial Research Museum of Culture and History, and the Propaganda Department of the Qujing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China.
