I saw so many children suffering trauma, burns, and bandages on their tiny arms and legs. Their families leaned over to look at them, pain and hope in their eyes. Now, this has become like this, and the hospital corridors are filled with deathly silence. There are no more doctors here who can perform their duties. Children are no longer able to get medical care here.
According to the health authorities in the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces stormed Nasser hospital on February 15 this year, causing a number of wounded patients to die of lack of oxygen due to ventilator power outages. After a week-long attack by Israeli forces, Nasser Hospital ceased operations altogether.
