On the afternoon of April 25, an exchange meeting focusing on cutting-edge technologies of medical device standardization and inspection was held at Huawei's Sports and Health Science Laboratory in Songshan Lake Wanhui Yungu Science and Technology Industrial Park.
Li Xiangchen, researcher of the Institute of Sports Science of the General Administration of Sports of the People's Republic of China, Li Jingli, director of the Institute for Medical Device Testing of the China Institute for Food and Drug Control, and other experts were invited to share the meeting, attracting nearly 30 enterprises in the park to participate, and representatives of the Commerce and Investment Promotion Bureau, the Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and the Science City Group also attended the event.
With the rapid development of wearable technology, big data and artificial intelligence technology, the field of medical devices is ushering in an unprecedented technological revolution. The continuous emergence of new products has brought new challenges and opportunities to the quality standards, inspection and testing and quality control technologies of medical devices.
At the exchange meeting, experts provided directional opinions for enterprises on how to ensure the safety, reliability and effectiveness of new products, accelerate the cultivation of emerging markets, and gave detailed answers to the standards for the registration and certification of new medical devices proposed by enterprises, the inspection and use of new medical devices, and the auxiliary work of medical device certification in the early stage of R&D products.
It is worth mentioning that Huawei's Sports and Health Science Lab is the largest and most comprehensive professional laboratory in the field of sports and health jointly built by Songshan Lake with the technical resources of the General Administration of Sport of China and leading enterprises.
The relevant person in charge of the Huawei Sports and Health Science Lab said that in the future, the Huawei Sports and Health Lab will continue to play a platform role to continuously improve the technological innovation and service capabilities of the park, and attract more sports and health-related enterprises to gather in Songshan Lake to build an ecosystem and create a better future.
