Yunnan-Vietnam Railway: One of the world's three miracle projects, a century-old railway in China

In 2022, the victory of the Anti-Japanese War ushered in the 77th anniversary, and it has been 112 years since the opening of the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway. This railway carries the destiny of the country, connecting the mountains and the sea between China and Vietnam, and can be called a treasure in the history of Chinese railway construction.

With a total length of 854 kilometers, the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway crosses the three major river systems of the Jinsha River, the Pearl River and the Red River, and shuttles between the mountains and mountains of Yunnan. There are 445 bridges and 115 tunnels along the way, passing through 12 ethnic minority areas.
