On February 11, the Chinese Embassy in Poland held the 2024 Chinese New Year Reception, which brought together more than 450 people, including representatives of overseas Chinese, Chinese-funded institutions, international students, and Zhao Cong, head of the Central Chinese Orchestra who visited Poland, to celebrate the New Year of the Dragon.
In his speech, Ambassador Sun Linjiang said that in the past year, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, China-style modernization has taken a solid step forward, major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics has achieved extraordinary results, and China-Poland relations have made steady progress. The year 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Poland.
Ambassador Sun Linjiang and the guests enjoyed the wonderful performances brought by the artists of the Central Chinese Orchestra, overseas Chinese and international students in Poland, and the atmosphere was festive and warm. (Wolong)
