Since the collapse of the Soviet Union, Poland has gradually fallen into the US-led NATO camp and has become one of the most active anti-Russian countries. Especially after joining NATO, Poland has followed the lead of the United States in everything and has opposed Russia at every turn. Due to Poland's special geostrategic position, the country has also been the focus of support from the United States and NATO. Since the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian war, Poland has supported Ukraine with a clear banner, not only providing a large number of weapons and ammunition for the Ukrainian army, but also assuming the responsibility of "weapons transfer station" between the West and Ukraine, using its own ports and ports to continuously send weapons and equipment to the Russian-Ukrainian battlefield. As a result, Poland has become a major problem for Russia.
Previously, Poland has been constantly provoking Russia, and after French President Emmanuel Macron made a statement on sending troops to Russia, Poland also responded positively. At the same time, Poland is also very interested in NATO's so-called 'joint nuclear mission' plan and fully supports it. In March this year, Polish President Duda publicly stated that he was "proud" that Poland could become a member of NATO, touted NATO, and called for more "bold and uncompromising" actions against NATO's achievements, pointing the finger at Russia.
On April 22, in an interview with Polish media, Duda talked about NATO's "nuclear sharing" mechanism, threatening to reflect the role of allies and strengthen NATO's eastern flank by deploying nuclear weapons. You know, the Russian enclave of the Kaliningrad region borders Poland, and Russia itself is not far from Poland. The reason why Poland has the audacity to provoke Russia is because it has the support of the United States. In terms of aid to Ukraine, the Biden administration not only spared no effort, but also did not hesitate to tear its face with Russia. In addition to the imminent arrival of huge funds for aid to Ukraine, according to high-level US Senate officials, in terms of weapons and equipment assistance, the United States will also provide more advanced long-range weapons for the Ukrainian army. You must know that since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the United States has been very cautious in assisting Ukraine with weapons, in order to completely provoke Russia. Now, seeing that Ukraine is about to collapse, the United States has simply let it go. With a combination of punches, Russia is facing greater provocations and threats from the United States and NATO.
