In order to strengthen the safety management of dangerous goods transport roads and ensure the safety and smoothness of the city's highways, according to the notice of the Traffic Management Bureau of the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau on the implementation of temporary traffic control on the highways for dangerous goods transport vehicles and some key freight vehicles during major holidays in 2024, during the Spring Festival holiday in 2024, the city's expressways will continue to implement the management measures for the prohibition of dangerous goods transport vehicles on holidays and the management measures for the restriction of traffic of key freight vehicles on some expressways. The relevant information is hereby warmly reminded as follows:
Highway dangerous goods transport vehicles are prohibited regulations
From 12 o'clock on February 9, 2024 to 24 o'clock on February 17, 2024, the city's highway prohibits the passage of dangerous goods transport vehicles.
Regulations on the prohibition of key freight vehicles on expressways
From 12 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the day before the Spring Festival holiday in 2024 and from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day during the holiday (i.e., from 12 a.m. to 10 p.m. on February 9, 2024, and from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. to 10 p.m. every day from February 10 to February 17, 2024), heavy trucks transporting construction materials and construction waste such as sand, cement, and river sand are prohibited from entering and exiting all highway toll stations in Banan District, Nanchuan District, Qijiang District, Wansheng District, and Hechuan District. Engineering transport heavy trucks refer to heavy dump trucks, heavy-duty dump semi-trailers, heavy-duty tank semi-trailers, heavy-duty flatbed semi-trailers and other models that transport construction materials and construction waste.
Provisions on the reporting of vehicles transporting dangerous goods
For dangerous freight transport vehicles that really need to pass through the highway such as liquid chlorine, refined oil, medical oxygen, and medical waste for tap water production, they can apply for the passage of the city's expressway during the Spring Festival holiday through the WeChat public account of "Chongqing Traffic Patrol Police" from February 1 to February 9, 2024 for the transport vehicles that meet the reporting conditions. Non-Chongqing license plate vehicles shall be reported in writing by fax. Applicants should declare at least one day in advance, and the declaration can only be passed after approval, and those who fail to pass the approval cannot pass during the prohibited period.
After the successful report, the system will feedback the traffic regulations information, the driver should be in strict accordance with the vehicle reported by the public security traffic management department designated time, route and speed of the passage; When encountering a road inspection by the traffic patrol police or passing through the highway toll station, the driver should take the initiative to show the pass code applied for by the platform.

6. Dangerous goods transport vehicles need to enter the highway during the prohibition period of the necessity of the description (including the reason and necessity of the dangerous goods transport vehicles need to enter the prohibited highway, the types of hazardous chemicals transported, the specific time of entering the prohibited highway section, the upper and lower crossings, the road and the destination);
