On the occasion of the Spring Festival, in order to inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture and enrich the spiritual and cultural life of young people in the jurisdiction, on January 26, the community volunteer service team of Longkai Dongyuan, Century City Street, carried out the "skillfully handmade lanterns and light up children's hearts" handmade cultural volunteer service activities for the young people in the jurisdiction.
During the activity, the volunteers first explained in detail the historical origin, production skills and precautions of the lantern, so that everyone could understand the principle, type, material technology and production skills of the lantern. Subsequently, under the patient guidance of volunteers, the children have tried to make a simple version of the lantern, in the process, we quickly mastered the production skills, colorful paper, red rope and plastic brackets after building, fixing, assembly and gradually assembling the shape of the lantern, a delicate and unique lantern gradually formed, the light turned on, the lantern showed a different kind of beauty in the rotation.
Through this activity, the children not only learned about the production method of the marquee, but also deeply realized the connotation and value of this traditional culture, but also enhanced the communication and interaction between young people in the community, and shortened the distance between neighbors. In the next step, the community will continue to pay attention to the needs of residents, plan more colorful cultural volunteer service activities, and further inherit and promote the excellent traditional Chinese culture.
