Suzuki recently unveiled the 2024 GSX-S1000GX Touring and GSX-S1000GX Sport. The GSX is positioned as a crossover between the GSX-S1000GT and the DL1050 V-Strom.
It is equipped with a water-cooled four-stroke inline-four engine with an actual displacement of 998.6cc and a maximum power of about 152 hp, slightly higher than the 150 hp of the street and sports wagon versions.
Double-wing frame, left-right asymmetrical swingarm, Brembo front brake system, large digital instrument cluster, Showa electronic automatic control suspension, unique floating ride control system, S.I.R.S electronic control system (integrated electronically controlled throttle, SDMS-α selectable power take-off mode, STCS traction control system, SRAS for smoother, softer throttle control, etc.).
The Touring and Sport versions are based on the standard GSX-S1000GX and come standard with some original accessories/modifications.
Compared to the standard version, the travel version is equipped with a heated grip (with a knob-type temperature adjustment function), a central tripod, and more
Compared to the standard variant, the Sport variant gets an Akrapovic exhaust, heated grips with knob-type temperature adjustment, and a semi-translucent low windshield at the front.
