The Galaxy S24 series still has three models, namely S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra, all three phones are equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 processors, which means that the three phones are relatively unified in terms of performance and computing power of large models. The Galaxy S24 has 8GB of RAM, and both the S24+ and S24 Ultra have 12GB of RAM.

In addition, S24 Ultra continues to use the 200 million pixel main lens sensor, the previous 10 million pixel periscope telephoto has been replaced by a new 50 million pixel periscope lens, and the aperture has been increased from the previous f/4.9 to f/3.4, but because this lens needs more independent imaging in this generation instead of mixing with the main lens to achieve telephoto shooting, its focal length has also been reduced from the previous 10X to 5X.
The S24 has a 6.2-inch FHD+ screen, a 167g body weight, a 4000mAh battery, and a 25W wired charging speed, while the S24 Pro has a 6.7-inch QHD+ screen, a 196-gram body weight, and a 4900mAh battery that supports up to 45W wired fast charging. The lens module of the two phones is exactly the same, including a 50-megapixel main lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a 120-degree field of view, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
Samsung's S24 series focused on their AI build and typical scenarios. The large model carried by the S24 series is similar to all current competing mobile phones, all of which adopt the method of "device-cloud combination", Samsung did not announce the number of parameters of the device-side large model, but they said that all non-localized processed data will be processed in the cloud before going to the cloud, through the assistance of the device-side model, and then hand over to the cloud after removing personal information to ensure the security of user privacy.
At the press conference, Samsung showcased some typical scenarios of device-cloud combined AI, among which the scenarios of local device-side models were highlighted.
The first is real-time translation of calls, the mobile phone realizes the real-time translation and voice output of the conversation through AI, when the user calls with foreigners in different languages, AI will directly help translate into a language that you can understand, completely eliminating the embarrassment of talking with chickens and ducks before. And it processes voice conversations locally, and the data is not connected to the Internet.
The second is the ability to generate diagrams. Samsung will give some tips on the user's photos after AI recognition and modification, such as removing glass reflections, making up for the lack of light occlusion information, etc., and after simple AI processing, you can get better photo samples.
The third is the ability to read and write, and the typical scenario is meeting shorthand. AI can mark all participants separately in the meeting minutes through real-time speech analysis to distinguish the speeches of different people and facilitate later organization, and AI can also help users extract meeting summaries and other conventional AI operations.
These three typical scenarios are all realized by relying on local large models, and the data is not sourced, which can ensure the privacy and security of users.
Of course, Samsung also has cloud-side AI scenarios, such as the S24 Ultra they have developed a circle map search capability. It turns out that we use search engines to recognize pictures, and generally search for all pictures. However, on the S24 Ultra, users can search for circles, such as only one earring in the image.
In terms of the price of the overseas version, the Samsung S24 is priced from US$799 (about RMB 5,750), the S24+ is priced from US$999 (about RMB 7,189), and the S24 Ultra is priced at US$1,299 (about RMB 9,347).
