10.0.8 Fire extinguishers that meet one of the following conditions shall be scrapped:

2. The cylinder is obviously deformed and the mechanical damage is serious;

3. There are cracks in the head, and there is no pressure relief mechanism;

4. There are irrational structures such as flat bottoms of the cylinder;

5. Portable fire extinguisher without intermittent jet mechanism;

6. The name of the production unit and the time of delivery cannot be confirmed, including the nameplate falling off, the nameplate is blurred, the name of the production unit cannot be distinguished, and the steel seal of the factory time cannot be recognized;

7. The cylinder has repair traces such as soldering, brazing or patching;

8. Burned by fire;

9. The ex-factory time reaches or exceeds the maximum scrapping period specified in Table 10.0.8.

5.4.1 The following types of fire extinguishers should be scrapped:

1. Acid-alkali fire extinguisher;

2. Chemical foam fire extinguisher;

5.4.2, fire extinguishers in one of the following circumstances should be scrapped:

5.4.3, the fire extinguisher factory time reaches or exceeds the scrapping period specified in Table 5.4.3 should be scrapped.

5.4.4. After the fire extinguisher is scrapped, it should be replaced in accordance with the principle of equivalent substitution.

6 The fire extinguishers in the following places shall be inspected semi-monthly in accordance with the requirements of Appendix C.

1. Crowded public places such as waiting rooms (planes, boats), singing, dancing, entertainment, screenings, and amusements;

2. Yards, tank farms, petrochemical plant areas, gas stations, boiler rooms, basements and other places.

7. When the fire extinguisher is found to be moved, missing parts, or the nature of the fire extinguisher configuration site has changed, it should be dealt with in time.

8 Records of fire extinguisher inspections should be kept.

Extension 2: How are fire extinguishers repaired and scrapped?
