The 2023 "report card" of the new car-making forces is released: Li Auto delivered a total of 376,030 vehicles throughout the year

On January 1, a number of new energy vehicle companies announced their vehicle manufacturing report cards for December 2023 and the whole year.

In December 2023, Li Auto delivered 50,353 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 137.1%, achieving the goal of delivering 50,000 vehicles per month. A total of 131805 vehicles were delivered in the fourth quarter of 2023, up 184.6% year-on-year. For the full year of 2023, a total of 376,030 vehicles were delivered, a year-on-year increase of 182.2%. As of December 31, 2023, Li Auto has delivered more than 600,000 vehicles, making it the largest new Chinese automaker in terms of delivery.

Xpeng delivered a total of 20,115 new vehicles in December, a year-on-year increase of 78%, and the cumulative delivery in the fourth quarter exceeded 60,000, a year-on-year increase of 171%. In 2023, the total delivery of Xpeng Motors will exceed 140,000, and the cumulative delivery in history will exceed the milestone of 400,000.

NIO delivered 18,012 new vehicles in December, up 13.9% year-on-year. In the fourth quarter of 2023, NIO delivered a total of 50,045 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 25.0%, and quarterly deliveries exceeded the delivery guidance. For the full year of 2023, NIO delivered a total of 160038 new vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 30.7%. As of December 31, 2023, NIO has delivered a total of 449594 new vehicles.

Leapmotor delivered 18,618 units in December, a record high in deliveries and a year-on-year increase of 119%. In 2023, a total of 144155 units will be delivered, a year-on-year increase of more than 29%, and the cumulative delivery has exceeded 300,000 units since its establishment.

AITO Wenjie series delivered 24,468 new cars in December, an increase of 29.96% month-on-month, with a total of 94,380 deliveries in 2023, and the cumulative number of Wenjie M9 has exceeded 30,000 in the seven days since its launch.

BYD announced that it sold 341,000 new energy vehicles in December 2023, compared with 235,000 units in the same period last year. In 2023, the cumulative sales of new energy vehicles will be 3,024,400, a year-on-year increase of 62.30%.

ZEEKR delivered 13,476 vehicles in December, a record high of 18.9% year-on-year, and the cumulative delivery volume in FY2023 was about 118,700 units, a year-on-year increase of 65%.

VOYAH delivered 10,017 vehicles in December, up 479% year-on-year, and sold 50,552 vehicles in 2023, up 160% year-on-year.

BAIC Blue Valley announced that the company sold 20,815 vehicles in December last year, compared with 9,863 units in the same period last year. The cumulative sales volume this year was 92,172 units, and the cumulative sales volume last year was 50,179 units.

The sales volume of new energy vehicles reached 42,141 in December, a year-on-year increase of 153.21%; the sales volume of Sailis Automobile in December was 31,490 units, and the monthly sales exceeded 30,000 for the first time, a record high, a year-on-year increase of 210.03%;From January to December, the cumulative sales volume of Sailis Automobile reached 106703, a year-on-year increase of 33.31%. A total of 24,468 new vehicles were delivered in December, of which the new AITO M7 delivered more than 20,000 in December.
