Lucid plans to build an electric car for around $50,000

IT Home reported on December 26 that Lucid CEO Peter Rawlinson said that Lucid plans to launch an electric car of about 50,000 US dollars (IT Home note: currently about 357,000 yuan) to compete with Tesla's best-selling Model Y and Model 3.

Lucid's earliest model, the Air sedan, began mass production in September 2021, with the entry-level Pure version starting at $77,400 (currently about 553,000 yuan).
