A few days ago, a lot of relevant information about Xiaomi cars has been made public on the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. According to the declaration information, Xiaomi's first model is named SU7, and there are three versions, namely SU7, SU7 Pro, and SU7 Max.
In terms of appearance, the exterior design of the new car is indeed very similar to that of the Porsche Taycan, with a coupe design, a relatively low front part, a closed front face, and a matrix headlight cluster. In addition, a version with LiDAR is also available.
The sides of the body have a streamlined shape with a sporty fastback design, as well as concealed door handles. The rear of the car adopts a continuous tail light cluster, and has the brand logo of "xiaomi", and the tail label is "Beijing Xiaomi". In addition, the new car will be equipped with an active rear wing.
In terms of body size, the new car has a length, width and height of 4997/1963/1440mm, a wheelbase of 3000mm, and is available with 19-inch and 20-inch wheels.
In addition, the Xiaomi Car SU7 is available in two battery versions with capacities of 101kWh and 73.6kWh. The CLTC range of the 101 kWh is 800 km and 750 km, respectively, and the CLTC range of the 73.6 kWh is 668 km and 628 km, respectively. According to the current information, the 73.6kWh version will use BYD's lithium iron phosphate battery for a 400V platform, and the 101kWh will use CATL's ternary lithium battery for an 800V platform.
In terms of power, the new car is available in single-motor and dual-motor versions, with a peak power of 220kW for a single motor and 220kW for a dual motor and 275kW respectively.
