During my time in Angola and North Korea in Africa, I tasted all the flavors of the world and saw the impermanence of the world

Seeing this topic of "looking at the impermanence of the world and seeking the connection", what appeared in my mind was "tasting the world's flavors and seeing the impermanence of the world". Yes, I went from my hometown to Beijing to work, and then I was sent to Angola and then seconded from Angola to North Korea, where I saw the luxurious life of the rich in Africa and saw the days when the poor in Africa had nothing. I saw a familiar scene in North Korea, got up listening to the loudspeaker, and looked at the red flag waving in the wind on a major festival, as if I had returned to my childhood.

Figure 1: A conference room in North Korea

In North Korea, I saw familiar scenes, and I felt like I had traveled back in time to see people dressed in black, gray, and military uniforms. I've always loved the atmosphere of North Korea, from the mental outlook of the people to the way they dressed, from the streets to the houses that brought back memories of my childhood. After working in North Korea for half a year, one morning when I was exercising facing the sea, I suddenly understood why I liked North Korea so much: what I liked was actually my carefree childhood, my simple and happy time. Although the days were relatively light and the materials were not as much as they are now, they did not have so much pressure and not so many troubles now.

Compared with North Korea, Angola in Africa is much more interesting, I feel that they seem to have jumped from a slave society to today's industrial civilization, and their values and outlook on life have been greatly impacted. Just like the people in China when they were just divided into separate jobs, they were at a loss, and they Xi were used to obeying the arrangements of the production captain, whether it was sowing seeds or fertilizing, all the work only needed to obey, and suddenly let people face these things by themselves...... To plan, to implement, it is normal to have a foggy mind for a while.

But there is also a certain difference, we actually know how to do the job, black people can't, they don't know how to do the job, such as planting corn, peanuts, they are all throwing a seed in a pit, I remember when I was a child, the production captain taught us this group of half-sized children: throw three or four in a pit, more fertilizer is not long enough, less is not good for the group leader......

Speaking of blacks, in fact, they are still Xi to working under other people's arrangements, and it is also right, in the past, in the slave era, as long as they went to work and came back, they had food, although they also faced the danger of being sold, but as long as the big guys grinded foreign workers together, so that the master felt that there were more people to work, and the whole family could live together. And now they feel very tired to earn money by their ability, to eat by their ability, and to plan and plan everything in their lives by themselves. If you don't have money, you will rob and steal, and if you have money, you will sit in the sunset and hug other people's daughters-in-law to enjoy the red sunset at dusk, which is very good, and it doesn't take much brains. The picture below is the two thieves we caught.

Figure 3: The thief caught

When I gave things to black people in Angola, black people in their 30s bent down and bowed their heads, and when they reached out, they also put their left hand in front and right hand behind, and kept saying thank you while receiving things, especially when I was giving black people who had their hands and feet cut off by slave owners for stealing things (hands were cut off from their arms and feet from their calves), his demeanor was even more distressing, perhaps in his cognition, foreigners came to enslave them, they all came to bully them, and this kind of thinking was also inherited by young blacks. However, this black man who had his hands and feet cut off was the oldest living black person I had ever seen, probably because he had no hands and feet and was unable to move and not contracted willow disease, right?

During the years of working abroad, in addition to seeing humanity in Africa, I also saw many familiar scenes in North Korea: for example, people working in the fields full of red flags, such as being awakened by loud singing every morning, such as smoking cigarettes under the south wall with a group of peers in their fifties and sixties, and looking at their slightly thin bodies wearing slightly old clothes, I can't help but feel my childhood.

Some people say that after half a hundred, they understand that life is bitter, spicy, sweet and sour, but I think that after seeing Africa and North Korea, I feel that people have a mixed life in this life, I passed by their world, looked at their lives, although I dare not say that I have tasted all the flavors of the world, but I also see the impermanence of the world.
