Liver pain usually presents as a constant, dull ache or discomfort.
Pain in this location may be due to increased volume or stretching of the capsule due to disease.
Liver cancer may be asymptomatic in the early stages, but as the disease progresses, it may lead to functional failure, manifested by jaundice, ascites, and indigestion.
Because it is deep in the abdominal cavity, the pancreas is usually less painful.
When the pancreas is sick, the pain is usually insidious, but it can cause indigestion, weight loss, and abdominal discomfort.
Cancers in this location are often asymptomatic in the early stages, but they can cause blockages in the pancreatic ducts, leading to a buildup of pancreatic juice and decreased activity of digestive enzymes.
Pain in the spleen is usually insidious, but when an organ is enlarged due to infection, inflammation, or trauma, it can cause pain and discomfort in the left upper abdomen.
A rupture in this area can cause severe abdominal pain and even symptoms of shock, which is a medical emergency that requires immediate treatment.
Even an organ that is normally "non-felt" can be a sign of a serious illness if it presents unusual pain.
With early diagnosis and treatment, the cure rate can be significantly improved and the long-term health effects of the disease can be reduced.
