December 4, 2023 is the 10th "National Constitution Day" in mainland China. In order to further promote the spirit of the Constitution, safeguard the authority of the Constitution, and improve the awareness of the Constitution among herdsmen. On December 3, the Shazi Border Police Station in Tacheng, Xinjiang, carried out constitutional propaganda activities in pastoral areas around the theme of "vigorously carrying forward the spirit of the Constitution and building a socialist culture of rule of law".
At the event site, the police of the police station had a cordial conversation with the herdsmen to understand the herdsmen's awareness of the Constitution, and through various forms such as explaining cases, interpreting laws, distributing publicity materials, and providing legal advice, they publicized the knowledge of the Constitution to the herdsmen in combination with the actual life, so as to ensure that the herdsmen can understand, understand and accept.
The on-site police focused on explaining to the herdsmen the important status and significance of the Constitution, the rights and obligations of citizens, and the channels of legal aid, guiding the herdsmen to learn the law, be sensible, protect their rights and interests, and constantly deepen their understanding of the Constitution and enhance their legal awareness.
After listening to the explanations of the policemen, Kazakh herdsman Bahati Tryuksi was very emotional: "Although I am not literate and cannot remember all the knowledge of the Constitution, I clearly remember several laws and regulations related to the daily life of our herdsmen. Our strong country and laws provide me and my family with a full sense of security. The law protects our rights and interests, and it also makes me realize that studying the Constitution is very meaningful!"
More than 100 people were educated and more than 300 brochures were distributed. In the next step, the Shazi Border Police Station will further increase its publicity efforts, continuously enrich the form and content of publicity, attract the active participation of the majority of herdsmen, deepen and implement the publicity work of the Constitution, and create a strong atmosphere of learning and abiding by the law, understanding and using the law in the jurisdiction.
