Live broadcast on November 26 A number of British media reported that former England coach Terry Venables died at the age of 80.

A family statement from Terry Venables reads: "We are deeply saddened by the loss of a wonderful husband and father who passed away peacefully yesterday after a long illness. ”

Terry Venables played for Chelsea, Tottenham and Crystal Palace as a player. As a manager, he won La Liga with Barcelona from 1984 to 1987 and Tottenham Hotspur from 1987 to 1991, winning the FA Cup. He coached England from 1994 to 1996, reaching the semi-finals of Euro 1996.

Venables was also the coach of Fan Zhiyi and Sun Jihai when they joined Crystal Palace.
