Technical analysis of the reinforcement of the Yellow River Bridge in Lama Bay

In this paper, the technical condition of the Yellow River Bridge in Lamawan is evaluated in detail, and the ultimate state of the bearing capacity, the normal stress of the components in the use stage, the principal stress of the components in the use stage and the bridge deck are carried out. The analysis found that due to multiple reinforcements and long-term parking of the bridge deck, the load continued to increase, resulting in insufficient shear bearing capacity, low safety reserve, and insufficient bearing capacity of the bridge deck. Through the innovative bridge reinforcement scheme of "one increase and one decrease", that is, increasing the bridge web section to improve the bearing capacity, reducing the bridge deck pavement, and thus reducing the dead load of the bridge. By comparing the flexural bearing capacity, shear bearing capacity and foundation bearing capacity before and after reinforcement, it is verified that the reinforcement scheme can effectively improve the overall bearing capacity and safety factor of the bridge, and improve the safety capacity of the bridge operation. This reinforcement scheme provides new ideas and engineering practice experience for the reinforcement of similar bridges.
