The unsolved mystery of Mercury

Mercury is one of the most mysterious and least studied planets in the solar system, closest to the Sun, with a diameter of only 4,880 kilometers and a mass greater than the mass of Ganymede and Titan combined. It has unique features, including a crater with a diameter of more than 150 kilometers and a "net" shaped structure up to 200 kilometers wide, known as the Pantheon. Researchers have taken thousands of images of Mercury's surface through the Messenger mission, but continue to work until 2025 when data received from the BepiColombo spacecraft will reveal more about Mercury's secrets.
